Welcome to TRC, New Zealand’s largest collector and recycler of printer cartridges. Established in 1999 TRC is one of New Zealand’s leading recycling companies.

TRC collects all used printer waste including inkjet cartridges, laser cartridges and photocopier cartridges and drums. All items returned to TRC are reused or recycled according to the most environmentally friendly practices available.

TRC is committed to saving the environment by reducing waste to landfill. TRC diverts more than 400,000 cartridges (that’s over 200 tonnes) of recyclable material from going into New Zealand’s Landfills every year.

TRC works co-operatively with many partners to achieve these aims. All cartridges that are not re-used are dismantled locally by Abilities Group, a provider of jobs to New Zealanders who would otherwise struggle to find work.

TRC also works co-operatively with many manufacturers including Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Canon and Brother to achieve its aims.
